The ring-leader of our group, as some would call him, is Dr. Brian King. He started practicing here in July 1993 and 'bought the practice in 2005. Originally from Memphis, he achieved his degree at Mississippi State University. You may notice that the clinic is not your "run of the mill" clinic. Dr King is a lover of the arts, which is not only reflected in our colorful clinic with eclectic mix of local and world art pieces, but also in his presence on the music scene. He plays drums in fhe band Sho Nuff and can always been seen at local music venues. On weekends you may also find him out on the water with his wife Liz and their 2 girls, Bella and Francesca. The 4-legged members of their family include 2 cats, Fritter and Flora.
Our other main man around here is Dr. Gordon Luke. Originally from Summerville, he got his start here as a vet tech in 1992-1994. He went on to earn his degree from the University of Georgia and briefly moved to Oregon but returned to us in Oct 2004 . He and his wife Bridget are the proud parents of 2 children, Gracyn and MacLain. Their 4-legged children include 2''dogs and 3 cats, Bubbles, Oliver, Einstein, Smudge, and Voodoo. Dr. Luke's hobbies include fly fishing, woodworking and camping with the family. He also recently completed his first triathlon! Way to go Dr. Luke!
She was born in South Africa and moved to Charleston in 1983. Dr. Allison has been here before; she was a full-time vet here in 1996-2001, then came back as a relief vet for us since 2009. Now, you can see her if you come in on Wednesdays. Like Dr. Luke, she is also a graduate of University of Georgia. She is also the proud parent of 2 children, Haley and Luke. She also has 3 cats, Wally Jones, Jolly Jones, and Bobby Jones. Dr. Allison also has many other accreditations in alternative medicine practices and loves reading, boating, movies, music, and yoga.
Our front desk staff works hard to keep everything running smoothly which starts with our woman in charge. Our office manager hails from the great state of Iowa which is where she earned her veterinary technician degree at Kirkwood Community College. She started out here as a veterinary technician in 1996 and earned her spot as our head lady in 2008. When she's not here you can usually find her atthe beach, playing softball or riding bikes with her 2 daughters, Kaila and Jafden. They also like to spend a lot of time with their 3 cats Jade, Kozmo, and Eric.
Another Nicole you will see at the front desk is Nicole Evans. In 2000, she opted for the warmer climate of Charleston and moved here from her home town of Hendersonville NC. She has been in the vet field since 2002 and here since 2007. In her spare time, she and her husband Trey like to spend time with her daughter Taylor going camping, boating, and hanging out with friends. They also enjoy playing with their Dachshund, Eddie and mix breed, Margaret.
Another front desk face is Sabrina Ferri. She came here in 2007 as well after working at an Equine Clinic for 3 years and another small animal practice for 3 years. She is a Lowcountry native who grew up on a farm riding horses her whole life. She also enjoys riding her four-wheeler and being out in the woods or on the boat. Her Australian Cattle Dog, Taco and mixed breed, Noah love roaming her parents farm chasing the horses.

One of the great things about Pet Vet is our interaction with clients.
Almost all of our clients have been in our treatment area and many have gotten a lesson on our microscope. Many of you will come to recognize some of our technicians.
One technician who is also sometimes known as our handyman is Daryl Bryant.
Daryl was born and raised in Summerville and started working here in 2005. Daryl is a proud graduate of the Trident Technical College Veterinary Technician Program who loves Stevie Nicks, reading and gaming. He also loves spending time with his two Boston Terriers, Gertie Sue and Jemima Lou, as well as his 2 cats, Cairo and Zoe.

She also has 2 dogs, Copper and Angus.
Another one of our animal lovers is Caitlin Merchant.
She hails from our state capital but says she prefers our fine city. Caitlin came to us in 2009 and loves playing her guitar and singing as well as being on the water and spending time with her friends.
Our well-traveled technician is Christine Ruch.
She has lived in many states due in-part to her time in the marines which was fine for her because she loves traveling. She has been a part of our family since 2001 but is now only part-time as she recently graduated from Trident Technical College with an Associate in Dental Hygiene and now does that certain days of the week. She also stays busy with her 3 dogs, Cairo Jones, Lucy, and Sake, as well as her cat Callie.
